The Hollywood Queerie posted a comment about checking out his blog and seeing what I think.
Luckily, What I think is- I like any blog, gay or straight , that has a highly informed level of bitching about a particular industry.
The bitching is of the first order-what with being sociallly concious and all , make sure to read the excellent post about The Gay Agenda As he sees it, it will help you imesurably in parsing out the rest of the blog.
It's a very polite call -to -arms. That's exactly the kind of tac to take these days.
Not "holy shit dude, youre heads on fire!" but "Pardon me sir, did you want your head to be on fire? " "If not, here's some headfire safety tips that have worked for me in the past...."
Plus sticking it to the man via form letter and dating exploits. Good stuff. *

Before you waste time pondering the improbable notion of a right wing homo, who lives in Ontario no less, just read the damn thing. Canadian right- wingers are like American moderates who have been told that Phish broke up and are kinda cranky. But only just kinda. So it's an easy, non inflametory read. That's assuming you have a partially opened mind. Fred emailed me requesting a listing on this site , and won the day because he realizes the satirical nature of a category entitled "Hot Gay Blogs" and didn't ask me to check out some narcissistic gay porn site. The "Hot Gay Blogs" section is for blogs where the bloggers identify themselves as gay, and once identified, go on to talk about other things. I am more interested in these kinds of blogs than I am in sex blogs of any stripe. Come for the anomaly, stay for the insight.

BLOG IS HOT DESPITE PROTEST OF BLOGGER

71 West has broken a long streak of bloggers (gay and otherwise) shilling for inclusion via posting comments, that don't make it into the directory .
Scott admits (in the comment) that he is not hot , but his blog is tailor made for this section.
The first post I read: " Big Gay Interview #1: Date or Fuck?"not withstanding , the blog tends to demphasises sex and favors real human emotion. I don't want to read about your sexual exploits (gay or straight) for obvious reasons.
The most obvious being I'm not getting any, the second being I don't like bragging.
The last request I got was from someone who, judging by the pictures all over his site was quite pleased with how buff he was.
I was not pleased with how buff he was.
