C) Kim-
Yeah, yeah I know Little Lulu, I've picked up most of the Darkhorse Little Lulu's etc. but I'm talking about what seems to be the rule rather than the exception. They also reprinted Henry comics which have always freaked me out. Maybe I'm talking about Gold Key Comics when I condemn an entire ouvre.
Here's some links for ya:

update: In 1962, Dell was given the boot by Western Printing when they started Gold Key Comics. Maybe those are the comics I remember sucking so badly .
Dell limped along until 1973 when they finally stopped publishing comic books. Far be it from me to kick a comics publisher when they're down, and I don't hate Dell, quite the opposite.
I love anything shoddy and speculative when it comes to comics. I love the fact that anyone in the comics industry was even adressing these topics and phemomena at all.
The Music Man was released in 1962, the very year that trouble started brewing for Dell's relationship with it's parent company (Western Publishing). Knowing how these things play out, the comic book was probably released in late 1962, which, in all likelihood, was several months after Western had told Dell not to let the door hit them in the ass on the way out.
Perhaps this was some kind of contractual fullfilment dealie , that contributed in large part to its' suckiosity and absurdity.
Without The efforts of these brave individuals, I would not have something to point and laugh at with 44 years later. Kudos!
